oops brakes dont work in the snow

Your brakes work, you're just doing it wrong. :p

On the other hand, my bike's brakes really don't work when wet. :(

Brakes don't work in the snow?

Why? Did the mechanism freeze? Is your brake fluid contaminated with water and froze in the calipers?

If not, then odds are, the brakes worked properly...but due to the snow, the tires didn't have enough traction to stop when the brakes stopped the tires from turning....and you slid in the snow.
Were your tires inflated to proper sidewall pressure?

woah. I didn't even see that. My eyes focused immediately on the snowman and deck.

I am definitely jealous. Every time I visit the East Coast and get on the beach, I just get mesmerized and lost in thought, daydreaming about living near the beach.
