Amazingly un-helpful error message.
How is a noob supposed to ask for further info, when he / she can't get into the Forums to find out they're supposed to delete Cookies? After days of getting what I presumed to be a temporary software / server glitch, I Googled for the Ooops message and quickly found a posting on BroadBandReports.com that described the problem and cookie solution.
A) Instead of giving an error message of very little utility, how about correcting the problem?
Deleting offending cookie?
Replacing bad cookie(s) with something that fixes the issue or is at least a step toward correcting the problem / directing the user on how to fix the issue?
B) Giving a "Anandtech cookies are a problem and must be deleted" error message, instead of the non-helpful Ooops! message?
C) Something else that helps break the stone wall
There are so many threads on this. It would have been better to bump one of the current ones. such as this one The mods can't do anything about this as it was already stated in the linked thread above.
