I also got this too.

I wouldn't renew my subscription either until the search function was fixed.

Can't say I saw the FuseTalk message, but the "Ooops! You encountered an error..." was even showing up when I was trying to simply visit Anandtech's Forums. Main page, sub-forum, didn't matter.

Seems it has been fixed now though.

I keep getting the same error message every time I try to edit my system rigs profiles...I have 8 PC's and get the same error on all of them...they run different versions of Windows from 98SE to XP and Vista Ultimate.

Yeah, I had this error a lot last night. The day before too. I had PM'ed a mod about it because i thought I was banned. 99% sure I wasn't, but had to ask anyways.

It's been pretty intermittent(sp?).

'Open Link in New Tab' (FF 2.0.0.3) seems to cause it more often. Well, it just started happening 4-5 mins ago. Sending a PM failed. Then, posting in this thread failed twice.

It happened a few months ago and then stopped, but the last 2 days, the number of "errors" has risen from about 0 to a lot.

Just got it on FF 1.5. Was trying to access 'My Forums' page.

I've tried this on three different networks from two continents and I get it. Not ISP related.

So it's not browser related, as it appears to happen acrross IE and Firefox(so assuming Opera has the same issue as well). Also, not ISP related. It happens across all pages as well. Not just after clicking certain links.

Closing and reopning the browser does not resolve the problem, nor does a refresh.

It's Fusetalk's solution to the search problem ;)- just like when Outlook was popular for passing viruses and worms, so Microsoft simply disabled the ability to send executable file attachments.

It's happening constantly over here.
Just about everything in the forums brings up the error.
