Has anyone here ever agreed to sell something here or on any other forum, reach a set of terms for shipping/payment then have the asshole on the other end go back on thier word only after you ship/pay for an item ? I'm not talking about trolling ( or so this had better not fn turn into that ) but I met an agreement with another member here to sell a video card. He agreed to pay me after I shipped and got him a PP addresse to send payment to. He knew I didn't have my own PP account and that I was going to have to use a friends and he said he was cool with that and would send payment anyways once I shipped the card.

I just got a PM from this jerkoff saying that he now didn't want to pay me till he recieved the card as the PP addresse I gave him to send payment to wasn't mine. NO SHIT SHERLOCK !! He knew this going into the deal and has done nothing short of go back on his word.

I would have had no problem shipping to him first as he has 6x the heat as me and the only reason I'm severly pissed off ATM is he gave me his ( worthless ) word then went back on it only after I shipped the card.

Outta curriosity, how many people here are okay with this and think he's in the right to go back on his word for any reason even though nothing on my end changed one bit and how many of you think I have every right to be pissed at him even if only a little ?

Using someone elses PP always raises a red flag for me, but if the guy agreed to it, he should really stick to his word.

Not much you can do at this point though, so just ship it off and leave a neutral if you are that upset by it.

you shouldnt be doing anything since you have NO IDEA wtf you are doing.

first you use someones eles's paypal that is a major red flag. that screams scammer to me.

2nd you have no idea what "ship first" means. its not you say you mailed it then they send payment. its they get the item and make sure its what you claim and works then they pay.

so no its not his fault it is yours.

How are you going to sell something and use somebody else's paypal to receive payment?

That is very dumb on your part.

That being said, you did agree to payment terms and if you have it in writing just forward it to him and state that this is what was agreed to.

It's free and easy to set up a paypal account. You should have just done it yourself.

Before you nooblings go calling people scammers you should know I have been using my friends to send/recieve payment for months with 0 issues.

You can contact any of the people I've gotten evals from in the last year and they can vouch.

my HEATware though you don't deserve to be humored

And I do know what " Ship first " means and it only applies the way you intend if he said " Ship first then payment upon reciept of item", instead he said " Ship first and I'll pay you when it's been shipped" .

I already know I'm a better AT'r than waggy n ODiN as I don't jump the gun calling people scammers just to make myself seem big and important ROFL.

Glad I drew you 2 losers out here before I accidently get involved in a trade with you :)

I'll prob still give him a possitive not a neutral as I'da shipped first anyways but it ain't gonna be no sparkling eval, gonna prob just say, " I sent him the card as promised and he paid me " .

Just paid AMcore the $90 I've owed them for the last 2 years for a bounced check so I won't be able to open an account for a few more days when I'm cleared with Tellecheck :( At least this is one of the last times I'ma have to go thru this much trouble :)

Going into the Military so I had no choice but to finally pay off Amcore as I'ma need a bank account for Direct Deposit once I'm enlisted.

If you have been buying/selling for the past year, why did you choose to wait to pay a debt from 2 years ago.

You essentially stole money from them.

And then the only reason you cleared it up was so you could join the military.

Very honorable of you :(

why do jerkoff buyers make the pretense of an easy transaction, then start pulling things out of their ass like 'oh im a great trader but dont actually have my own paypal', or 'yes i really want your item, could you ship it to my friend'

who knows?

I don't trade online, but I would personally interpret "ship first" to mean that the person would receive the item before payment, not pay once the item is in the mail.

You are a really good AT'r, you should teach a class on how to AT to make the best of us good AT'rs.

I'd be mad too, but I wouldn't care much as long as you get the money.

I'm sorry OP, but you're acting like a complete douchebag and I wouldn't care to have a transaction with you even if you've done nothing wrong at all.
