I don't really like it.. I enjoy my dark theme that comes on the xbox (or at least I think it did). It recolors the blades a gunmetal color and it looks real sleek. That batman theme should've recolored the blades instead of leaving them bright and shiny gray.

Can this be fixed manually? You can customize your theme--is it limited to only the backgrounds? I've never really messed around with it.

I like the GTA IV theme that I am currently using because it changes the color of the blades to be dark, IIRC, and when you bring up the Guide blade it looks like diamond plated sheet metal.

No, you can only use the colors that the theme gives you. You can't customize it. I wasn't really paying attention to the color of the blades. I just love those Batman backgrounds. A co-worker has one with Joker holding a joker card over half his face, Batman holding a batarang over half his face, and Harvey Dent holding a 'Vote for Harvey Dent' button over half his face. I would have liked to have seen that one included.

Anyways, the easiest thing for these theme makers to do is just slap a background image in there and use the default blade and text colors.

Actually guys, unless I'm mistaken what you mean by 'blades', you can change the color of those to a darker more fitting one. First apply the theme you want. Then go back to the theme page and pick 'customize', then 'dashboard trim'. The carbon trim is darker and IMO looks really slick with the Dark Knight theme. Much better than the default anyways. You can also change the guide background if you want which is the side window that pops up when you hit the x-box guide button.

I remember doing this before too.
