oooh. just witnessed a hit and run

Was walking back from a bar and saw a Toyota Tercel trying to pull across 2 lanes out of a parking lot (trying to pull between 2 cars stopped at a light).

A nice clean mustang was driving along the other way and the toyota totally pulled out in front of him (completely blind). The Mustang was going about 30-35 mph. The toyota got ripped apart and spun around a bit. The mustang drove down a bit and pulled over.

Then, as we all stood and stared, the guy in the toyota starts BOOKING away from the scene (car was apparently still driveable). cut through a parking lot and away. The mustang saw this, turned around, and asked us where he went, then the guy downshifted and tore away after him. We saw the mustang later, and he hadn't found the guy.

We felt bad that no one got the toyota's license plate. We were too busy staring.

That sucks. Hope the Mustang has decent insurance, cause the guy in the toyota certainly didn't....whatever's left of it.

i got hit at an intersection by some illegal immigrant w/ no insurance, no driver's license, no registration, no nothing. luckily i had uninsured driver coverage

and sure enough, we just stared in disbelief. if i had 1/2 a mind at the time i could have easily run out to the lot and gotten the guys plate. i feel bad for that mustang driver

Well, screw you. I have a wife and 6 kids to support and can't afford insurance, or new license tags. What makes you think you have more right to earn a living and go buy goroceries than me?

Same thing happened to me..

I think they should let us beat the hell out of the other driver if he cant produce valid insurance papers.

I just finished my Spanish classes, but I think I'll forget the language in 10 years.🙁
