What week of the SLW39 do you have rigor?

I just installed one on an abit bx6 r2 with msi 6905 v2 slotket and
couldn't get 950 boot with stock hs/fan.

Can only get 9.5 X 83 mhz to work. (950 would be nice 😉

ps. anyone know how to tell what .X version of slotket they have?

cant tell from box or slotket.

thanks.

PLEASE POST BATCH /WEEK Info guys.....

shishya, I'll be running the same setup as you once mine gets here. It should be here today or tomorrow. I'll post my results ASAP.

hmm dunno.

the packaging says packed on 08/31/2000.

running at 1.8V at 950. MSI6905 Rev 2.3

Remember Abit boards override the voltage setting on the slotket, so set the bios to 1.8V or 1.85V and try it there.

Got mine!!! The socket is on backorder(MS-6905), but I was able to get a generic one locally. The numbers are Q032A390 SL3W9 package date of 8-31-00. At 950 and 1.85 it was unstable with temps around 55c/131f+. So I lapped the retail H/S and the temps are now at 50c/122f under load. At 979 it will load windows, but I get blue screens. I going to order a Alpha PEP66 and maybe a TEC tomorrow. I ran 3dMark 2000 and got a score of 2297 with a V3 2k. Does anyone know how to get the voltage higher on a bx6 r2? I was running a 300a @ 468 and 2.1 volts, but it will not let me go past 1.85 now.

got my c633, promise ultra66+ fan today.
c633@950, 1.9v. ultra 66 to ft66.
for $163 it is a good deal for me, i'm happy with Onvia.ca's service.

Fastvideo: What week is your Celeron 633? Can it run stable at 950MHz at a lower voltage (less than 1.9V)? Also, which part of Canada do you live in?

Thanks

it is a boxed cpu, BX80526F633128SL3W9, pack date 09/06/00, default vcc 1.65v. comes with intl hsf and three years warranty. but i use taisol hsf.
should be stable @ 1.85v. i use 1.9 instead, runs 3dmark 2000 overnight no problem.
i'm from montreal.
