Ontrack Powerdesk Pro 4 in Windows XP?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else here runs Powerdesk Pro 4 and runs Windows Xp Professional? I checked ontracks website, it says Win ME support but no XP. It works in XP for me, but it's slow. Like, when I first open, it takes a good 5-10 seconds to actually bring up my tree. And when I do any powerdesk move/copy, even in Explorer (with the right click PD option) it seems to be really lagged. I was curious if anyone's had this problem, or hasn't. I don't believe it's my system, but I'm not too sure what could be causing this inital slow down. I really like PD, if this is a PD/XP issue, are there any similar programs that don't have issues?

Works fine here. Athlon 1800+ running WinXP.

Yes I believe so, I did the auto update. It's really annoying, it gets to the point where it says "not responding" when I first open it. I think it was taking about 15 seconds last night I'm glad to hear it works for you, but I have a feeling I won't get it working right

One thing I find odd, the PD pro 4 standalone will only update to 4.0.10, but my friend with SystemSuite 4 the PD that came with it will update to 4.0.12

I have 4.0.12.1. Sounds like you need to do the update again. I had to do it twice before it said I had the latest and greatest.

I`ve Ontrack SystemSuite V4 with Powerdesk 4 Pro and my version is 4.0.13.1,anyway it`s working fine with WinXP.
