I'm going for my road test this week to get my license. Anyone with any experience care to share any tips or things to watch out for? Anything I should keep in mind before I go? Thanks.

Sorry cant help ya.. I didnt have to take anything other than an eye test when i got my Ontario license.

But i figured I'd give ya a bump so maybe someone else will respond 🙂

Dont go below or above the speed limit

Check your blind spots all the time...everytime. you lose points every time u dont.

Look everywhere when u go through intersections.

Make sure u exaggerate your head movements when u blindspot check...to make sure they see it. If u just use your eyes to look they usually cant see them moving

If your taking the test somewhere your not used to driving, go check it out and drive around the location yourself to get to know the area a bit. Is this for your G2 or G?

That is probably the most useful piece of advice, exaggerate head movements, but other than that, just keep cool, drive calmy and normally, I passed my G1 Exit test on my first try, I don't see how people can fail, just do everything logically, and if you know the rules of the road, like right of way and such, it'll be a breeze.

also.. ALWAYS give pedestrians the right of way, you'll fail right off the bat if you don't.

G2 test is extremely easy, atleast it was for me. When doing your parallel park dont be afraid to back in and out a few times as long as you end up correctly they dont mind. Other then that just follow the normal procedure for everything else : uphill/downhill park, 3-point turn (be sure to signal each time), changing lanes and what not and you will be fine.
