Is it just me or is this the absolute worst UPS hub in existence??? It seems like so many packages get held there for such a long time, and even worse, get completely lost there. I've got two packages from monoprice that have been stuck there for 6 business days already. They are supposed to be delivered today. I called UPS this morning just to make sure they haven't lost this order and was told they will update my tracking info "later this afternoon." Sigh.. I wish there was an east coast version of monoprice.

I usually upgrade my shipping with them to avoid this but standard [3-5 business days] was $44 and 3 day was $105 :\

Me too. What the fuck is going on in this thread?
Basically a cascade of fails. First someone thought he was talking about Ontario, Canada. Then someone mentioned something about that "county," but someone else misread it as "country" (i.e., Canada) and accused them of failing. Now we all fail.

triple fail, since that's what i was referring to.

I think that OCGuy was refering to San Bernardino county (not country which is not in his post, but county is) where Ontario, California resides?

Quadruple Fail?

Well it's good to know that the county is to blame and not just UPS.

You have GOT to be kidding. The FAIL is on you. I fly into the ONTARIO, CA ariport all the time as it is easier to access than LAX.

Another Canadian geography fail ...

Woo hoo! Apparently they didn't scan the packages on departure from Ontario. It's in Laurel, MD with a rescheduled delivery date of 12/9/10.
Still a long friggin time!

Why does everyone stress about how long it takes to get parts online? My perspective is that when I buy parts for my computers, it's extra money and when I click 'buy' the money is gone. Then a miracle happens. A few days or weeks go by and the computer fairy leaves me gifts on the door step. Sometimes I've even forgotten the purchase. I like surprise gifts!

You don't get annoyed when something that is supposed to take 3-5 business days takes 7 business days? Especially when, from anywhere else in the country, it usually only does take 3? And when they have a bad record of actually losing the package altogether?

I would probably get annoyed if it was lost but, a few days extra in shipping? No. If you absolutely positively have got to have a part by a certain date and you didn't have the time to wait, buy it at a B&M.
