Has answered about 100,000 calls for door lock opening assistance so far this year.

Oh if PT Barnum was still alive today.

Is it just me, or when you see and hear the OnStar commercials does it make you NOT want to get OnStar?

If I leave my gas cap off, the last thing I want to do is talk to some yahoo was has only a slight grasp of the English language.

If I'm an idiot and lock myself in my car, the last thing I want to do is talk to some yahoo who has only a slight grasp on the English language.

If I'm in an emergency the last thing I want to do is talk to some yahoo who has only a slight grasp of the English language.

Personally OnStar seems like a great idea, not to mention the emailed diagnostics.
If BMW or Toyota or <insert Foreign Car Maker here> came out with OnStar, ATOT would be flooded with praises.

If you've ever heard the radio commercials where they play real conversations between OnStar subscribers and their customer service agents, you'd know what I was talking about.

I don't believe Onstar outsources. Their main call center is in Detroit, with locations in Toronto and North Carolina, as well. Their Detroit center is in the Renaissance Center.

I've only used mine twice, once to ask about the phone and second to ask about my check engine light being lit. Both times it was a normal english speaking person.

Oh and how the hell does someone lock their keys in their car!? If the keys are in the ignition, off or on, the car WILL NOT LOCK. If you try it will unlock the doors as soon as you lock them.

I don't intend to ever have an OnStar equipped vehicle, or if I do, I will disable the OnStar system to the best of my ability. I'm not comfortable with having that much of my vehicle's functions being accessible remotely.

Glad to see how you can take a feature on your car and apply it as an absolute to all vehicles sold today.

My father-in-law is a big fan of OnStar. When he travels out of town, he purposely locks his keys in the car at the airport. When he gets back, he calls them to unlock it. One less thing to keep track of while traveling.
