Now they just need to sell onstar as an add-on for any car and they would be able to make a killing off of it.
DEI (Viper/Python/Valt) already makes that. Its a bit pricey right now though.
No they don't. It's just a remote start app and plug in. Although Onstar is a "separate" company they are still very much attached to GM. If you see it available on other manufacturers in the next five years I'll be shocked.
