Say what you want about myspace, but I am sure there are plenty of users on here and they are not all emo teenagers. If you have an account, I am sure you always see those bulletins about myspace trackers. Of course none of them work unless the person who visits your profile is also registered at that site.
Well a while ago, I setup a custom tracker. Some guy on another forum (forget which one) helped me through the process. It worked wonderfully. Basically, whenever someone visited your profile, it would have them send you a message inviting you to subscribe to their blog.
It doesn't give you an IP or anything, but it tells you who visited your profile and when. I thought it was pretty clever and it worked great. I later setup a guest account to direct the messages to since my inbox was getting flooded and people were wondering why there were so many messages in their outbox. It worked flawless for months.
Last week though, I pasted in a code for a slash mp3 player and I accidentally deleted the lines for the tracker. I just realized this now and I can't figure out how to set it up again. Does anybody know how to do this. It was only three lines of code iirc.
