only visual effect when playing dvd movies.

Hi, recently downloaded the "animatrix", when i play it using Windows Media Player only the visual effect is on screen no pictures(but it has sound).

the bottom(status line) says error downloading codec... i don't know what is the problem.

i download the divx code already, it is 5.05

can someone tell me what is wrong. i have problem with several movies too, but this one is most recent.

last time i just updated the divx driver and the problem was gone.

ok, i downloaded gspot, but it failed to render..

and i discovered that the movie is actually a xvid format.

what program is needed to play this movie?

g-spot will usually tell you what codec the file uses. Have fun searching for g spot.
