only top of page loads, for several minutes.

Every time I visit the forums, I get the top of the page for several (like 2-3) whole minutes and then eventually the rest of the page will load. See below, why is that?

Tried Chrome and IE 11, result is the same.
Tried both at home and work, result the same.

Update: It seems the problem is more severe and more often on IE 11 than it is on chrome.

I am having this same issue, I thought it might be related to Comcast is throttling my connection. guess not?

Bottom left of Firefox tells me that ad addresses are loading. There is the delay. This place is full of ad ware. I think there is a way to disable this.
