Is there a point? (Edit: I can't even invoke Oldsmoboat's Law since you don't claim it's funny)
With a failure rate of 30% (though it may be higher), there are over 900,000 people just like him with 2+ failures.
Even MS admits the original 360 design is unreliable. Zephyr helps, and Falcon hopefully helps even more.
You know, your calculations leave out a key component - the amount of time it takes to fail. That seems to vary widely.

The point of this thread is not just to showcase another sob story. It's about the fact that after waiting 2 months, he got less than 1 month of playtime before it broke again. The video is not very pleasant, but less than 1 month isn't a reasonable length of time after a repair. In fact, I don't think people have looked into that issue. Sure it may take about 1 year to fail. But after MS wastes 2 months of you time, how long will the returned console last you then. I would've expected it to last another year, but I was sorely mistaken. Just think about this - if he sends it again, that would be almost half a year without the 360 operational. And how long will it last when it comes back the second time?Originally posted by: DaveSimmons

True, I was/am just a little puzzled about what's thread-worthy of a 360 failure rant video when this kind of failure is common and we all know it happens.
I missed whatever was novel or funny about this rant in particular, though I see this could be amusing:

Still . . . is that all there is?![]()
