Anyone ever have this problem? I have an MSI KT6V-LST that I just picked up refurb from Newegg last month. I was running a single stick of RAM, and just picked up 2. It seems that the slot closer to the CPU wont recognize anything when I put it in, even when that same stick works in the next slot. I also tested all the RAM in question in another system I have-works fine. When both slots are filled, the MSI will boot fine, but will report only 256mb.
Could there be any other causes to this problem? I REALLY don't want to have to be without a mobo while I wait for a replacement...
