He's increased the size of government, passed laws against civil liberties, strengthened special interests and the corporate welfare state, waged unnecessary international war, and weakened the strength and security of the United States by greatly increasing the national debt -- just to buy votes.

I agree with all of that Vic. BlancoNino supports GWB and yet BlancoNino implies that he himself is a Libertarian by posting in this thread.

We've been down this road in the past, Vic. And we got nowhere. I'm not doing that battle again. Just look at how long it took for peasants in midevil Europe to gain more liberties and take your own view of history. I'm not going to try to force my own views of history on you.
We're not medieval peasants. We don't have to fight to gain rights and liberties we don't have. All we have to do is fight to maintain the rights and liberties we already have. The system for us is already in place. It would take a very simple shift in public perception to bring about the necessary change.
