Why would anyone want to "win" in afghanistan? I have been saying since the Bush Administration refused to support the attack on Tora Bora that we should get out of there. It's not worth the effort.

No way. I was a government employee. I was an active duty Marine for over 20 years. I think there are too many government employees and I believe they have no need for a public sector unions.

They are not human shields. Sovereign nations go to war and risk their young citizens only out of a well developed sense of self interest. That is why I said they, the Norwegians, are there in the fight against these muslims.
