Hello,
I have an Nvidia Geforce3 ti200 with 64 megs of ram. The issue is windows only recognizes 32 megabytes. I'm running on the 44.67 drivers, and have had this problem ever since i've started using the 4x.xx detonators. Using one 4x.xx drivers the problem was even worse; only 16 megs were recognized. The odd part is that riva tuner and the nvidia driver tab in the advanced display options both claim my card has 64 megs of ram. However, all other windows applications (and windows itself) only recognize 32 of those megabytes. I have a strong suspicion that this is hindering framerates (as witnessed by numerous 3dmark scores before and after 3dmark recognized only 32 megs).
Does anyone else have this problem, and can anyone help me solve the mystery of the megabytes? For now i'm gonna try to go back to the 21.83 drivers, but i sometimes have problems getting that driver version to work well with norton.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
