only getting 1050 on a 1.4 ghz cpu

yo
when i installed a 1.4 ghz AMD processor onto an EPOX 8kha motherboard, the CPU only clocks at 1050 MHZ, all the bios settings are default..is there something i have to change?

yea, change bus and multiplier.. should be somethin gin your manual about it.

Yo!

Go into the BIOS and set your FSB to 133Mhz. You're prolly running at 100Mhz bus. 10.5 X 100 = 1.05Ghz. 10.5 X 133 = 1.4Ghz, :)

You need to change a jumper to go to 133MHz, you're on 100MHz now.

sorry to jump in but i have a question my bios is set to 133 which is better the jumper or the bios setting and why ??
