I got a very awesome b-day gift in the form of an HD5870, however recently I have been having issues on boot up. On windows start my computer only shows a quarter of the screen. To be specific the upper left hand corner. Usually the problem can be fixed with a reboot and the computer will run normal, but the problem will persist the next day. Does anyone have any insight on what might be the issue?

Here is my set up -

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64
PROCESSOR : C2D E8500
VIDEO CARD : HD5870
MOTHERBOARD : ECS G33T-M2
RAM : 4 GB DDR2
HARD DRIVE : Single 1 TB HD
OPTICAL DRIVE : DVD Burner
POWER SUPPLY : Antec Earth Watts 500W
CASE : Antec 900

I have updated my video card to the latest drivers to no avail. Do you guys think it might be my power supply? Or is it maybe my cheap/budget motherboard that's giving my system fits? It is my understanding that the Antec Earth Watts 500W is a pretty decent power supply? And I'm not running any thing intense sans my new video card.

Any help is much appreciated.
