Only 5x DAE with my Iomega 12x10x32x (rebadged plex)

Hi guys...

I recently got the 12/10/32x iomega... I've been using Music Match tp convert my audio CD's into mp3 files... However I can only get 5x transfer rates with music match for 192kps mp3 files at normal sound processing...

I thought I would get 20x dae with this drive... Would upgrading the firmware into plextor 1.07 improve the dae? Or is it because of other system limitations? Or is it Music Match software (i gt the full version with my drive)?

50x is the speed your CPU is converting the .wav file to a .mp3. Try extracting it to .wav first then convert from there.
