OK, key parts I've decided on:

Antec Nine Hundred case
Intel E6750
GA-P35-DS3P
Gigabyte GeForce 8800GT 512MB w/ Zalman cooler
Corsair 520HX
WD Caviar 250GB Hard Drive
Samsung 20x DVD Burner

That leaves the RAM. The last three comps I built (granted it was over 5 years ago) all used Mushkin RAM and it worked great for me. Those were the days when you had to buy it straight from Mushkin. It was a pleasant surprise to find Newegg selling it now. I found these 2 on Newegg

Mushkin 996557 5-5-5-18

Mushkin 996587 5-4-4-12

After rebate, there's only a $5 difference between them. Seems like a no-brainer, but I thought I'd check here just to be sure. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

Thanks for all of the help getting this far!

Both should work fine, your call on whether or not you want to spend more up front with larger rebate or not. Timings really don't make much difference for overall performance these days.

EDIT: That's going to be one nice system when complete!

Go with the cheaper set. Mushkin is generally good stuff. I'm sure it will work well for you.

Those are some expensive rams! Have you check on this OCZ

Or maybe this Super Talent these may not be the fastest but needless to say it's still CL5 at a much lower price.
