Only 1 message every 30 seconds?

Is this a new forum policy? Why? This is annoying when I'm trying to reply to stats threads in DC or something.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere.

This is annoying and there was no time limit, IIRC before the upgrade.

Damnt, just got pwned by the stupid time limit again.

It's probably the default setting. Many forums have a default setting for time between posts per each user. If it doesn't change, it will cut down on the forum bandwidth, size, and multi-posting.

they should do a 10 second one to keep multiposting down, but 30 will keep me from a nef spree😛

Yea most likely it is to keep from having double/triple posts...... But it could get rather anoying as sometimes I read multiple threads at one time.

While I don't like the 30 second limit, I do like the idea of a timed limit. I manage a few boards and usually set it to 5-10 seconds.

I concur. The 30 second limit royally sucks for dialup users who like to preload multiple threads and do "mass replies". However, since a limit would be useful to help stop double posting, perhaps it could be decreased to 10 seconds?
