Only 1 core showing with Q9550 on 750i FTW

CPUz along with many other applications only say I have one core. I recently installed the processor (yesterday) after selling my Q9300. Now I only have one core and performance is being effected. In the bios, all cores are enabled. I tried the HAL checked and that didn't work.
 
what does task manager performance tab say? i get weird numbers out of my 750i ftw with hwmonitor...
