Online virus checkers

hi,

i was wondering what your guys opinions of online virus checkers are, and if you can recommend one?

im not running any anti-virus software, atm, but i use Kaspersky, maybe once a week.

would i just be better off installing AVG or something?

They're better than not running anything at all. I would recommend something like Antivir and the the Kaspersky standalone that you can run on demand.

I use online scanners to get a "second opinion," but that's it. I use F-Secure online scanner.
