I would like to try online trading, but I have no clue where to start or what service to use. Does anyone know where I can find a online trading service shootout or something.

you mean like a site that rates them all ?

there was a site like that called gomez before, but now it is gonzo.

I recommend going to The Motley Fool It's a great resource for investment and financial information. As for online brokerages...I have E*Trade and Datek (now Ameritrade). Been happy with both thus far.

Definitely make sure you know what you are getting yourself into...you can make a lot of money...but you can also lose a lot of money. Good luck!
 
avoid AMD, great product, wish they would make a profit...
avoid anything telecom
avoid airlines and car companies

if u have the guts, short ebay, they're ridiculously priced but nobody knows how much more ridiculously priced it will get

if ur thinking super long term go with LMT, MSFT, the big guys
