Can anyone give me some advice on what company I should use for online investing. I plan to start out with about $500. Im looking for something with fast executions and is also cheaper when you sell the stock, my father used Etrade and I believe they charged him $20 each time when he sold the stock. I'd really appreciate it

$20 seems to be the standard for online trading. there are probably a handful of companies that offer a flat $15 fee for trades, but they probably offer fewer services than the bigger names

Use search on both current threads & the archives with "online" "brokerage" "stock" "trading" keyowrds -- there have been at least a half-dozen good threads on this in the last 6 months.

One of them says how to get all of your trades for FREE!!!

(j/k on the free trades, but welcome to AT-OT, and search is your friend)
