Online/Remote Data Backup

Currently, I have an external hard drive that I backup and put in a fireproof/waterproof safe.

I'm thinking about paying to have it backed up off site... any recommendations?

I'd probably die if I lost all my code, pictures, etc...

How much data, ff? How often you want to access/modify it? What your working chunks are?

There are plenty places you can ?hang? you data for free permanently ? consider just encrypting it all and uploading to some reputable place ? BT, Microsoft, Virgin etc (talking UK here).

How about archiving stuff onto blank discs as well as onto a second external HDD, and then putting it into a bank safety deposit box? Then, once a month burn another disc and swap external drives.

Amazon S3 with Jungledisk.

How much data is it? If it's not that much you could burn it to DVD. If it is medium size just get another external drive and put it somewhere offsite? Or just put it all online somewhere.

I use Mozy, its $6 a month. The service is unlimited space, but I have about 7gb backed up. I've had to restore data once, it was so-so. I'm going to look at other online options.
