online proxy service software/service?

someone mentioned free online proxy services. while, i don't know much about their performance, i'm sure they can't be all that great.

does anyone know of any inexpensive software or service that will act as an outside proxy so the outside world will see the proxy's address and not mine? something with performance a bit better than what's offered for free.

 
They are there but extremely slow! Best bet is to setup a SSH tunnel at home and tunnel to it with port forwarding... this is what I did for off site security and gaming ;-)
