So I have been playing poker online. I play a Lederer style aggressive tight strategy.
On the website bodog.com I have been very successful and made a lot of money.
However various internet websites rate Partypoker as one of the easiest sites to win at and party poker as a more moderate difficulty site to play on. My issue is that I cannot seem to win on Partypoker.
I mostly play tournament style but im not against playing a ten/nine ring cash game NL.
I am wondering what I must do to be profittable in Partypoker tournaments. I am wondering if because of the play style I use that it is perhaps actually better with less maniacs. It seems to stem from the fact that too many people call my bets and thus there are too many outs against me on Partypoker it doesnt seem to matter how aggressively you bet, they will call even reraising all in preflop with AA doesnt get rid of everyone and often two players will call, maybe one with low pockets and one with junk - then one of them will hit two pair or trips and destroy my aces.
To people who are successful on PP tournament games - i am wondering what strategy you use, what buy in you play (I have been playing 5+1 and 10+1 and I was wondering if the issue was the extreme number of fish at that level - in a cash game I would see the benefit but in a tournament you eventually have to play a hand.)
