What's wrong with the hook up? But nah, I don't think I could go to match.com for personals as I'm only 17. Anyways, I am pretty stoked about this Filipina's phone # I got today. I am, however, at faceparty.com as mith.

Nothing really, but I find stupidity repugnant, and most of the people like that are mindnumbingly stupid.

I did match.com before I met my wife. Had many a good time with it.

I did both the pay and free dating services. The pay services seemed to attract better people (in my opinion). So while I didn't meet my wife from online dating (I met her through my job) I did make plenty of friends!

basically a service like match.com is subscription based. I can't remember what the fee was, but it seemed a little high at first. regardless, I basically waded through a couple hundred personals from nyc (a safe distance from me) and fired off a bunch of "you seem interesting" (literally) emails, and went from there. I ended up meeting a number of cool chicks and ended up going out with two particularly interesting and available girls. One was a recent college grad getting ready to strike out on her own, the other was a kinda weird french chick who was an aspiring opera singer.

Actually, when all was said and done, I packed up and got back together with my ex, but that was just because it was convienent (a foreseable result of choosing from a pool that live about an hour away, rather than those that are fairly immediate). Nonetheless, even after a prolonged fling with the first chick, we continue to keep in touch and I actually got into a fairly cool community through her. Looking back, I'm very satisfied with match.com.
