I'm going to be rewiring a house that I'm moving to this weekend, and I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to where to go to get Cat5e/F-Connector keystone jacks, wall plates, a patch panel, etc.?

I've done some Googling for Cat5e supplies, and turned up some good sounding deals, but I'd like to go with a reputable company if possible so I know I'm not buying crap.

Also, while on the subject, does anybody have any preference as to which brand of product to use? I'm going to be looking for jacks/plates that look nice since this is going in a house and not a business. I'll probably be wiring up 2x2 jacks with 1 phone, 1 CATV and 2 data.

TIA.

For cheap jobs, I use the "General Cable" stuff and Leviton faceplates/jacks available at Home Depot. There's an online retailer that folks around here seem to like - I'm sure somebody will chime in with a pointer.

OK - definitely *definitely* check out http://www.anixter.com.

They are a HUGE distributor of this kind of stuff, and their prices are very good (they mostly sell to companies, but were very willing to sell to me as a home user). Also, they carry tons of Leviton brand stuff (very high quality). They will have everything you need from cable, to wall plates, to patch panels. We used them to wire our new house and I highly recommend them. They have distributors located all across the country, so they can get stuff to you very quickly. I believe you have to request a quote from them to get prices.

We actually went with Berk-Tek Lanmark 2000 CAT 6 cable to ensure compatibility with any future standards. This is the same cable they are using to re-wire the Fortune 200 company that I work for. The price difference is not much when you consider how much work you'd have to do in the future to re-wire for CAT 6. When all was said and done, we now have 16 CAT6 network connections, and a bunch of speaker connections throughout our new house. It was a lot of work (especially in the cold Ohio winter), but well worth it :)

Go with Leviton products for the wall plates/keystone jacks, and Berk-Tek for the cable. Leviton has a product called Quick Port, which will allow you to customize exactly what kinds of jacks you put in each wall plate. Also, check this site out for info on how to wire your house if you haven't done this before - it helped me out a lot:
