online multiplayer wii

Too bad the first online game for the wii will be Pokemon. I think it would be a wiser move for Nintendo to release a patch for wii sports so you can play online.

I could see them doing that easily for Golf & Bowling, since they're turn-based. Tennis, no damn way would that work. 😛

The other thing they need to do is either release another 9/18/2964234 holes for Golf, or make a course editor. I would :heart: them forever if they did that. 🙂

I agree. i just want to be able to play games with others. they can set up a basic system pretty easy.
 
I so badly need to get the money to buy a Wii, worse then you needing to play on line, at least you fvcking have a Wii. we're Wiiless 🙁
I feel like half a man not having a Wii to hold in my hand, to wail around and play with others. Id like to chuck it at the tv at least one time, pretend its a big sword and play fight with someone with our swords wacking them into each other. I just need to get my Wii off so bad.

Lag. Ever had a four-player tennis match with all human players? Those front-court rallies simply wouldn't be possible over anything slower than a LAN.

Boxing is a little less sensitive to lag, I guess that could work with some tweaks.

And I take it back completely on baseball ... that's turn-based as well. 😛
