Online IT Masters degree worth anything

I've been thinking about continuing my education, however I dont want to spend any of my own cash money. Luckily, my company offers 3k a year for tuition, but only in a degree program. I've been looking at some of these online universities however so far they look pretty expensive. I really am looking to learn, not just interested in the degree. Anyone have any experiences or thoughts?
 
I've read that the Master degree programs at Kennedy Western require you to put the work in, and it's not like some of the other diploma mills.

I don't have any experience with KW, but have read that several engineers said they had to work just as hard as they did getting their undergraduate degree.
