Please discuss. I've patronized a few companies. Zenni is who I've gone to for a few years but I hear their anti-scratch coating sucks the last year or so and I'm seeing that in my lenses. A poster in a thread here says they've really gone downhill with their anti-scratch coating.
What's your experience? What companies do a decent job, have a nice supply of frames, what extras are worth it, what aren't? Also, do any have the option to get actual glass lenses? I would get them if I could. The extra weight doesn't bother me, I figure, but glass's scratch resistance is a huge plus. I mean, scratches scatter light, right? Your lenses with a thousand micro-scratches are going to give you an overall hazy image.
Thanks for participating!
