Playing the medal of honor online demo I get real low ping times on alot of the servers in the 50,60,70,s but it is still lagy? the higher pinged servers seem to play better whats up with that? I have cable with about average of 740 download and 118 upload my box is up to it 900 athlon 512 memory ati radeon 64 mb vid card. Any Suggestions? would upgrading my online connection to 1.5mb down and 364 up help? I heard the servers usually limit the bandwidth.

whats ur pocket loss? CHeck that. Also is this lag where the game slows down like u see everything in slow motion for a sec or two or it feels like your hopping from one place to another?

Does this only happen in MOH?

I don't know what to say - at first I thought it might be the system but I don't *think* that would be the problem....perhaps your Athlon is a little slow - I dunno.

As for increasing your connection speed - it shouldn't matter. If you go to the following link and run the test you'll see the "Fastest Multiplayer Games" is in the 180ish region. While that might be somewhat dated, I would assume that 740 of DL should be more than enough. The guy from Adelphia that fixed out Cable Modem today alluded to the same thing, saying that multiplayer games really don't use that much of the pipe. Just my $.02 worth.
