Hi all, what do you want as far as service goes when gaming online? Do you want high download, high upload or about the same on up and down load? Thanks all
 
depends on what type of game you play...

Most FPS need quick DL and upload speeds ...

Most RTS need a good upload speed and a so so Download.

Most MMORPS need a mix of good up and down.

 
Anything dual-isdn (128/64) or better is fine. I recommend bellsouth fastaccess, if you don't want to buy the full 1.5/256 they have a "lite" plan now, 256/128.
 
more is better!! for games you don't need an insane upload. But it is important to look at. if youa re comparing two services that are same price, the uplaod may be the tie breaker. 1.5 down is usually the standard with dsl but some companies only give you 128k up. otehr will give you 384k up.

obvioulsy 384k up is better, and you will need that bandwidth if you want to start yoru own game server.
