Online gaming pupularity and tracking stats? (FPS)

Are there any stats sites that track say ALL FPS games and mods and shows what is currently popular. Say by showing how many people played said game and mod each week?:clock:

A friend and I play Battlefield 1942 and many of its mods regularly and a discussion started where we were worried that said games or mods that we play might die off as interest moved. :frown:

We also wondered if there was a way to see what everyone was going to during a given month either mod or other game completely.

We also wanted to know how many people during a week or month play a particular game. For example how many play BF42, HalfLife, etc... Any sites like this out there?

I'm not sure the exact link but I think somewhere around ?gamespy?? they have a list of # of players currently, # of unique players in the last week and in the last month. I don't know if they get into exact mods or not though.
