Online Gaming problem

OK, basically, I have two issues. One, everytime I finish an online game on Westwood Red Alert 2, I get booted and my net connection is disabled. I've tried releasing and renewing the values, but I have to reboot to get back online. Second, usually after the computer has been on all night, my computer is no longer connected to the net and I have to again do a hard reboot. I've set the router up so that I am always on with a redial time of 20 sec. (not sure what the 20 sec. is but that was the default). The following is my setup so if you have any suggestions, please help. Thanks. By the way, my computer is the PC, but the other computer hooked up to the netword is a MAC and it has not had a problem since day one.

Router: Linksys Wireless +4 point switch
NIC Card: Netgear FA311
OS: Windows 98se

I've updated the firmware for the router and the driver for the NIC. Still same problems. I'm thinking of blowing everything out and going XP, but I'm not sure that will even solve the issues.

It may be your network card that is powering down in power-saving mode. Make sure that is not enabled. If it's the router, sorry, I have no knowledge of it to determine much, but it would help if you provided some of your ISP details.
