hey i have about 400+ pictures that i would like to display on the internet.

is there any softwares that can do this for me?

TIA

Yup, rossman is the guy to talk to... through him I got diamondtransistor.com for I think about $25 a year, which includes a private domain name. He set up Coppermine for me which is what I use for my pic-hosting on there.

If everybody posted in the correct forum OT would be a wasteland of YAGT and YACT threads. An intelligent thread asking a legitimate question is like a breath of fresh air.

Agreed but they aren't the only choices.

There are over 270 image gallery scripts available.

Personally I prefer coppermine which I installed for waggy on waggytalk.com

If you want your own web site with photo gallery it can be done for under $20/yr and it includes 10 custom email addresses (e.g. spike@Spikesoldier.com)

1) Register a domain with NameCheap.com
2) Sign up for web hosting, a few choices are RippleHost, e-rice.net or HostPC
3) Install an image gallery script. I would be more than happy to install coppermine for you, for free.

Hope that helps.

Ross

i already have a domain and hosting

i got off the phone and they said they will switch me to another server that would support coppermine.

rossman, i think i will take you up on your offer for the installation 🙂
