Online Dating

I moved to a new city a few years ago and tried matchmaker.com.

I only signed up for their two-week free membership.

Those two weeks got me connected and provided 3 months worth of dates (almost every weekend).

I played the "numbers" game - just send/respond to as many women, then befriended friends (my motto: even an ugly date has some good looking friends) then started getting invited to private parties.

It was sooo much fun, thinking about it nowadays. 2-week free membership = 3 month kick start and 9 months worth of active dating many women until I met the person who eventually became my girlfriend.
 
There are some crazies out there, but plenty of potential as well. Just like the real world I guess. 😛
 
I signed up for PlentyofFish but really haven't spent any time on it. I look for the hotties in my area then quickly lose interest.
 
Many women misrepresent themselves on these dating sites, and look considerably worse than their pictures would have you believe.

and guys don't? its like a resume, got to portray yourself as best as you can..

i'm going out on my first online date this saturday, we will see how it goes
