A long time ago (before Amazon consumed them), I was a CDNow customer. They featured a nice rewards system for some members that allowed us to amass points that we could use towards CDs, with each purchase. I'm looking for something similar (and please don't say Columbia House or BMG). Anyone recommendations? I've been buying all my CDs for the past few years off a bunch of different places since nobody has everything I'm looking for.

The Amazon visa card gives you 3 points for every $1 spent at Amazon, and a $25 gift cert for every 2,500 points. You get 1 point for every $1 spent elsewhere.

Nothing else I know of. DeepDiscountCD often but not always has lower prices than Amazon, so you get back "dollar points" right away :)

i don't know of any and i would surprised if there are any. CD sales are falling and most companies are pulling out of a dying market.

Thanks, I'll check into that. I hadn't thought about a credit card rewards system.

Yes. If I like an album a lot, I'll go out and buy the CD. Also, the high quality rips that you can make from CDs can't be beaten.
