I am applying for this job and the online application is asking me if I can use some computer programs, and one of them is SAP ? What does this stand for ?

Even if you knew anything about SAP, I'd think twice about that career path.

Lots and lots of dough if you do go the SAP route.

I wonder what the suicide rate is for SAP consultants, though. Approaching those of dentists and angst-riddled teenagers?

The father of one of my friends is an SAP consultant. He recently left Siemens Business Consulting and is now working for Deloitte & Touche. I don't know what he makes now but I know he was well into the 6 figures at SBC. He's the one that tutored me in the SAP Sales & Distribution module. Personally, I'd love to take the SAP career path.

My dad's an SAP consultant, he makes good money and seems happy with his job, so it doesn't seem so bad :)

That's what I was wondering. It's the first I've heard that SAP is on the way out.
