advice for which receiver to go with?

The HTS650 set looks like i can get for 329 at onkyo... not sure if it's a refurb as one browser it does not say, another browser window says refurb... both pages have different urls.


or get the yamaha, I can get it for 179 new, and then i would need a set of speakers.


if i get the yamaha, should i get a set of the onkyo speakers or something else....like jbl that is readily avail @ bestbuy?
 
The HTS650 for $320 is definitely refurbed. Some people have reported problems with the receiver not outputting LFE correctly so maybe that's where all the returns came from. Regardless the Onkyo is a good deal
