Hey guys,
This is my first "hot deals" post, so go easy. I went to my local Fry's today and they had the Onkyo HT-S660 for $199.97. The price on the website is still $299.99, so YMMV.
HT-S660 at Fry's
MacMall has is for $242.99 REFUBISHED plus the $100 for shipping
MacMall HT-S660
Ecost has it for 229.99 REFURBISHED with shipping running around $60 after the $30 rebate
HT-S660 at Ecost
I also saw the HT-S760 for $329.99. This is a drop from the $499.99 they had it at last week. It is a clearance item, but is NIB.
Ecost has it for 199.99 plus $100 shipping, but it is a Refub

MacMall has it for $229 plus the $100 shipping also refurb.

Best yet, CC had it for $499.99 with a $50 MIR. They will not PM Fry's because it is listed as a clearance item. I went and tried anyways with no luck.
Main 2 differences I saw between 660 and 760 is that the 660 is 5.1 while 760 is 6.1. Thus, the 760 has 100 more watts due to the extra channel. The 760 also has component inputs while the 660 does not. Also, there is a slight cosmetic difference. The speakers on the 760 are a little thinner, and the buttons are also a placed differently.
