Onkyo HT-S650 Home Theater Speakers + Receiver $470 at BestAudioVideo

On my quest to find good quality speakers + receiver for a friend of mine, I found this. Very good reviews, free shipping, and an authorized Onkyo dealer too, so you get the full 2-year warranty. Usually the receiver and speakers separately sell for $300 each, and free shipping for such big and heavy items is hard to come by.

I just got the TX-SR600 receiver for around $300 shipped.
Great receiver. I'm thinking about getting the speaker set.

I bought this system from bestpriceaudiovideo.com, and I've been very happy with it so far. I wish I'd picked it up at Soundcity.com last week when it was $432 with free shipping, though.

If you're serious about buying these speakers, then wait! They go on sale at Soundcity like a few times per month @ $434 shipped

Yes, they are $499 at Circuit City right now, but they charge tax. A tax on $500 is heafty $40 for me Of course, with rebate and MSN must have been an awesome deal I just started looking for them very recently.

I've got these speakers with the Tx-SR500 receiver and I highly recommend them. Eventually, I want to upgrade the reciever to a SR600 but for now, the 500 does the job fine. The speakers sound fantastic.
