Is the Onkyo HT-S3400 worth the money?

From the little bit of research I've done it seems hard to beat.

specs wise and the fact that this has a 100W powered sub vs. a passive sub on the Onkyo .. this denon is better at almost the same price.

Fair enough. You could also get the refurb S3300 from a4less and save money.

I'd actually thought the S3300/3400 had a sub pre out as well as the powered speaker connection, but unfortunately not.
