I picked up a copy from the GameStop "If you steal this stuff, we probably won't call the cops." section for $3.50 today and while it installed OK, after the Bungie logo runs, an anime intro movie ran for a while then it crashed with a box that reads, no kidding, "Damn! Blam! Oni crashed". Well, duh... If you try to skip the Bungie logo, it bombs immediately, but if you let it go, it goes a while, but the sound is fluttery.
I've tried running under various compatibility modes (it's supposed to run under Win98/Me/2000) with no success. No patches were ever issued and other than this ancient post here, no one seems to have a fix. Any suggestions?
Man, it sucks trying to run older games on modern rigs.
